Our Firm’s History

Founded in 1982 by Mr. George Love as George N. Love, CPA in Dallas, Texas, our firm eventually found its home in Laurens, South Carolina a decade later. The year 2010 marked a significant milestone for us; Gary Bailey partnered with George, leading to the inception of Love Bailey & Associates in 2011. From the onset, our firm has been driven by an unwavering commitment to delivering top-notch accounting, tax, and advisory services.

Though George Love retired at the close of 2015, his legacy of excellence endures, bolstered by a team of highly-skilled professionals. Further underlining our growth and innovation, Gary and Apryl Bailey acquired a historical building in downtown Laurens in 2020. Named the Bailey Building, this structure dating back to 1907 underwent extensive renovations over two years. Today, it houses Love Bailey on the second floor, the Palmetto Room on the third, and Edward Jones and the upcoming Grouchos on the first floor.

Located in the heart of Laurens, South Carolina, we offer a comprehensive suite of services, including traditional accounting, auditing, and tax preparation. In addition, our firm provides outsourced management functions, such as CFO services, and specialized financial services tailored to governmental, non-profit, and commercial organizations.
